Accounts Receivable Clerk

Weaver Leather is looking for a full-time, Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Credit and Collections team.

 Responsibilities to include:

  • Process all cash/check payments and post to appropriate customer invoice/GL accounts in computer system.
  • Reconcile daily deposits and prepare daily bank deposit.
  • Process and run cash application report daily
  • Process and advance prepayment report daily
  • Handle prepaid orders including check, ACH and PayPal.
  • Advancement of all ‘hold for check’ and wire transfer orders.
  • Process all customer Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) checks.
  • Handle customer calls regarding payments and account status.
  • Research and process Customer Payment Deductions
  • Process accounts receivable adjustments.
  • Cross-trained to cover all positions within the department.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts receivable or data entry position.  Strong computer skills in a Windows environment with accurate data entry and 10-key skills.  Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.  Must be detail-oriented and able to manage priorities and time.
